Under the supervision of the Tribal Education Officer, assist with the implementation of school attendance policies and procedures which are designed to increase attendance, academic achievement and positive behavior for Muckleshoot enrolled and descendant students attending Muckleshoot education programs to include the MIT Early Childhood Education Division (Birth to 3, Muckleshoot Early Learning Academy, MCDC), Muckleshoot Tribal School , the Auburn School District and the Enumclaw School District . The Lead Attendance Mentor will provide support for the truancy process by preparing required forms, verifying and maintaining required paperwork, liaison with other schools and programs; acting as an advocate for the student, facilitating services/interventions for at-risk students who are not in compliance with Tribal truancy laws as well as ensuring compliance with applicable truancy laws and court orders.
Under general supervision, teaches and instructs pre-school children in a curriculum of pre-academic social, adaptive, communication, and motor skills.
Under supervision, assists in the supervision and instruction of children with special needs, disabilities or delays; observing and documenting student progress; implementing plans for instruction; and providing clerical support to teachers and therapists.
Under supervision of the Superintendent the Lead Culture Teacher will coordinate culture activities for the Muckleshoot Tribal School.
This position is the chief instructional officer of the Muckleshoot Tribal College and provides institutional leadership, supervision, guidance, and direction for all educational programs, faculty and staff, instructional policies and procedures, and for the management and supervision of tribal college associate transfer, occupational (vocational/technical), adult, continuing education, and workforce education programs. This position is also responsible for providing leadership and supervision for academic support services, including tutoring, testing and assessment, and library services.
Under supervision, performs paraprofessional instructional activities to provide learning experiences to individual and small groups of students.
Under supervision, assists in planning, preparing, cooking and serving meals and cleaning the kitchen and surrounding work area at the Muckleshoot Child Development Center or other designated sites.
Under general supervision, teaches and instructs special education pupils in academic, social, behavioral and other educational skill areas; counsels, disciplines and supervises to meet the individual needs of assigned students based upon Day Care guidelines and the rules and regulations governing special education and/or early childhood education; evaluates student performance and progress.
Under general administrative direction of the Early Childhood Education Director, plans, directs, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Tribe’s Muckleshoot Child Development Center.
Under general supervision, teaches and instructs pupils in culturally appropriate academic, social, behavioral and other educational skill areas; counsels, disciplines and supervises to meet the individual needs of assigned students; evaluates student performance and progress as required for state and federal accountability.
