This float position requires entry-level skills in both Administrative work and Early Childhood Education with instructional support to the Early Childhood teacher and classroom. Under direct supervision, the employee provides routine general clerical support such as answering phones, filing, taking and delivering messages, preparing mailings and photocopying. As an Instructional Assistant, this position will assist lead teacher with instructional activities to provide learning experiences to individual and small groups of students.
Under general supervision plans, prepares and cooks meals and oversees serving and clean up at the Muckleshoot Youth Development Program facilities. This position also plans, orders and prepares menus for two facilities, and delivers all cooked meals to the designated YDP facility, as well as supports any community ‘to go’ meal programs to support the youth.

The Guidance Counselor is expected to work cooperatively with the Muckleshoot Community and Tribal School staff in the development of counseling and guidance activities that meet the individual and unique needs of the Tribal School students and community. The Tribal School Guidance Counselor reviews and monitors student academic programs; transcripts and assessments. The Tribal School Guidance Counselor ensures that student grades and credits are recorded correctly. The Tribal School Guidance Counselor provides instruction in related guidance areas and provides support to teachers and students.

Under general supervision, will act as a child care advisor (offering guidance to help improve the quality of care), child care monitoring specialist (completing announced and unannounced inspections to ensure to ensure quality/safety, enforcement of the Child Care Development Fund plan, and advise to follow state, county and federal regulations related to the plan) and family engagement specialist (responsible for planning and coordinating events/Trainings for families and providers) of the Muckleshoot CCDF Program.
Under general supervision, teaches and instructs children of varying abilities, including those with special needs, disabilities, or delays in academic, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; counsels, disciplines, and supervises to meet the individual needs of assigned students based on adopted guidelines and the rules and regulations governing early childhood special education and/or early intervention services; evaluates student performance and progress and makes necessary referrals to other early intervention/special education personnel.
Provides mental health services to individuals, families, couples, and groups at the Muckleshoot Behavioral Health Program. Services will be located at a mental health outpatient clinic and also include outreach to various community settings.
