Oversees and develops Muckleshoot Summer Camp. Assists in supervising camp staff to ensure that daily operations run efficiently and effectively, and that Muckleshoot youth participants receive opportunities to participate in activities with a focus on leadership skills, life skills, educational enrichment and recreational activities.
As a key member of a multi-person team, provide classroom training in A+ (Computer Technician) and Network+ (Network Technician) and current computer technologies resulting in a successful student employment. This will include curriculum research, development, and delivery; successful interaction with a diverse student population; effective management of the classroom dynamics; and the development and maintenance of ongoing ties with industry.
Primarily responsible for administering all aspects of school operations related to student learning through high expectations for staff and students. Develops and evaluates the overall curriculum and instruction programs. Focuses on student success through culturally relevant curriculum, instructional programs, professional development, student proficiency and progress towards on time high school graduation. The Director of Teaching and Learning (Lead Teacher) collaborates with building principals on the supervision of Teachers and Instructional/Support staff.
Under supervision, assists in planning, preparing, cooking and serving meals and cleaning the kitchen and surrounding work area at the Muckleshoot Childcare Development Center or other designated sites.
Under general supervision, teaches and instructs special education pupils in academic, social, behavioral and other educational skill areas; counsels, disciplines and supervises to meet the individual needs of assigned students based upon Day Care guidelines and the rules and regulations governing special education and/or early childhood education; evaluates student performance and progress.
