Responsible for the configuration, design, installation, monitoring, and maintenance of server hardware and software required to support critical applications, and systems. Responsible for daily backups of systems and the development and testing of disaster recovery plans. Assists the Senior Network Engineer to install, configure, update, troubleshoot, and repair highly complex IT network infrastructures and associated components, storage area networks, VOIP telephony systems, surveillance systems, and other sophisticated data management and electronic systems. Assists with the establishment and ongoing maintenance of perimeter and internal security systems, and is tasked with safeguarding critical MIT data assets. Serves as a tier-two escalation point in the support of the IT Support Services team. Completes these and other duties as assigned for both the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe (MIT) government locations, Muckleshoot Tribal School (MTS) and the Muckleshoot Health and Wellness Center (HWC).
However, education may not substitute for the required hands-on network administration or engineering experience. A minimum of two (2) years of directly related network experience is required regardless of education level.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Employee has occasional exposure to possible electrical shock. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
