Under general supervision, Housing Case Manager provides high-quality; compassionate and professional case management and social work services to applicants and participants of the MIT Housing Program. Provides assessments to determine housing barriers and refers, monitors, and advocates for individuals in need of Housing. Counsel residents on rights and responsibilities and refer, monitor, and develop support plans to assist resident families with maintaining housing or meeting their housing goals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to operate, finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
