Under general supervision, performs technical work monitoring on-site operations of gaming related activities for the Tribal Gaming Commission.
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) or more years of soft count, cage cashier, or related gaming experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the functions of the job and one (1) year of business work experience is required.
Special Requirements: Incumbents must be able to pass a background investigation; meet the criteria for a gaming license and pass a drug and alcohol test.
Skill in: Basic math, using a computer, ten-key calculator, and standard office equipment; effective communication, both verbally and in writing; observing and monitoring the work of others; listening; time management; problem solving.
Knowledge of: General office principles and practices; gaming practices; , applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures relating to gaming operations and equipment, record keeping practices and procedures.
Ability to: Maintain confidentiality, follow oral and written instructions, establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, conduct inspections, prepare a variety of reports, work varying shifts (which may include holiday, weekends, and inclement weather), arrive to work on time as scheduled.

The employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to operate, finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Work environment is typically in an enclosed space for long periods of time with sporadic break periods to exit enclosure for security reasons; performed within a smoking environment; exposure to cool temperatures. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
