  • JOB SUMMARY

    Under direct supervision, provides guidance, supervision and leadership to children participating in the Muckleshoot Summer Camp Program for the summer of 2018.

    MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Lead children from grades 1 through 6 in indoor and outdoor activities.
    2. Provide leadership and guidance for children, ensuring their safety in all camp activities.
    3. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding the respective child’s camp activities.
    4. Complete attendance and all other reports as required by the camp supervisor or camp coordinator.
    5. Participate in any pre-camp staff training.
    6. May also serve as bus aides.
    7. Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the well-being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.

    EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION

    Graduation from a high school.

    SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION

    Knowledge:        Understand “no touch” supervision

    Abilities:               Works well with children

    Licenses or Certifications Required

    Must meet all requirements of the Indian Child Protection Act
